Karen & Kevin's World Trip!

Thank you for visiting our website.
On the 14th of September 2007, we finally embarked on our trip of a lifetime! We have set up this website to document our travels both to keep friends and family up to date and as a record for ourselves.

We will endeavour to keep the information on this site as current as possible however we will be at the mercy of internet cafés so please bear with us. Occasionally we may even be out enjoying ourselves!

Please check below for the latest on where we are and what's going on. Blogs will be updated when we get a chance.

What's New?

UPDATED (13/04)
Last weekend Kevin broke a bone in his hand and has had a plaster cast on for the past week - muppet!!  He is ok, don't worry!  He has to go back for a check up this week and fingers crossed the cast will come off.  Watch this space.

This weekend we spent a bit of time in Kawakawa Bay, 45 minutes east of Auckland, with Kevin's workmates.  They tried to pretend they had been working throughout the day on Friday but it didn't sound much like work to me!!  I went up in the evening for some yummy food and a few drinks.  It was a really good day.  As a result, we spent the whole of Saturday vegging and watching DVD's.  Today, we are about to head off to Devonport, a village across the water from Auckland mainland, for a spot of lunch and some walking.  Back to the grind tomorrow.....
